Earned nine varsity letters at Kentwood HS...three in gymnastics for coach Bob Fenton…one in cheerleading for coach Kim Kawaichi…one in cross country for coach Ken Paul…four in track for coach Steve Roche…cheer team were UCA National champions in 2009…in gymnastics named most improved as sophomore, most inspirational as junior and won coaches award as senior…on the field during track career, pole vaulted to school freshman record of 9-0…named Rookie of the Year for team…same year placed seventh at Nike National meet (2.43m/7-11 1/2)…sophomore year track team won South Puget Sound League and District titles…broke school record with vault of 10-6…at state 4A Championships finished 10th in pole vault…Kentwood girls won state team title…at Nike National meet took fifth place…as a junior won pole vault at SPSL and District meets…finished second at state 4A Championships with PR height of 11-0…Kentwood girls team finished third…senior year won SPSL and District pole vault titles…runner-up at state 4A Championships in pole vault with PR and school record height of 11-3…named Kentwood HS Athlete of the Year…competed on Kent Track Club for coach Michael Christiansen and Xtreme Speed Track Club for  coach Rob Thomas…
