PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State soccer senior Rachael Doyle has been named to the Capital One CoSIDA District 8 All-Academic First Team for NCAA Division I.

A native of North Epping, New South Wales, Australia, Doyle owns a 3.95 GPA as a movement studies major. She was named to the Capital One CoSIDA District 8 Second Team last season. She is a two-time Pac-12 All-Academic honoree, garnering a second team selection in 2011 and a first team award last year.

On the field, she has anchored a backline that has helped the Cougars set a school record with 12 shutouts and be on pace to set the school mark for goals against average.

Doyle ranks in the Cougar career top 10 for matches played and started. Twice, she has been an All-Pac-12 Second Team selection and earned NSCAA All-Pacific Region Third Team in 2012.
