WSU VOLLEYBALL BEGINS PAC-12 PLAY ATOP THE STANDINGS AT 13-0
The Washington State University volleyball team begins the Pac-12 Conference competition with an undefeated record of 13-0...WSU sits atop the Pac-12 standings...Cougars host No. 2 Washington (8-0) Wed., Sept. 25, in a 7:30 p.m. match in Bohler Gym...live broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks...Fri., Sept. 27, WSU travels to Corvallis to take on Oregon State (9-2 pending 9/25 match vs. No. 20 Oregon) in a 6 p.m. match at Gill Coliseum...Cougs vs. Beavers will also be shown on the Pac-12 Networks...all WSU road matches are broadcast free of charge at wsucougarscom with play action and interviews from Steve Grubbs.

START IS SECOND-BEST IN WSU VOLLEYBALL HISTORY
WSU’s 13-0 season start is the second-best in school history...the 1997 team, which had Head Coach Jen (Stinson) Greeny and Assistant Coach Shannon (Wyckoff) Hunt as players, raced to a school record 16-0 start...13 wins this season equal the total from the 2012 season.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF
Jen Stinson Greeny is in her third season as WSU’s head coach (38-39 at WSU, 3 years; 150-63 in career, 7 years) - complete Greeny bio on page 4...assistant coaches Burdette Greeny (3rd year) and Shannon Hunt (first year)...volunteer coach Kali Gesser...all four coaches are former WSU student-athletes...Katie Hinrichs is coordinator of operations (3rd year) who played for the Greenys at Lewis-Clark State.
