FRESHMAN (2013): Saw on-court action vs. Jackson State 9/13...had one dig vs. Nevada 9/20...Mead HS won three Greater Spokane League championships and competed in three 4A state tournaments was a runner-up finish in 2012, and third place in 2010...Member of WSU 2013 Recruiting Class Ranked 14th-best by PrepVolleyball.com.

ELLINGSEN’S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER.
Earned three varsity letters at Mead High in volleyball for coach Judy Kight…Panthers’ volleyball teams won three Greater Spokane League championships and competed in three 4A state tournaments…state finishes included runner-up in 2012, lost in the quarterfinals in 2011 after being ranked No. 1 in state throughout season, and third place in 2010...Valedictorian of the 440 students in Mead Class of 2013…member of Splash Volleyball Club for five years…Junior National participants in 2010 and 2011 for coach Eva Windlin Jansen…U18 club team took fifth place at 2012 Pacific Northwest Qualifier with coach Diane Pascua Nelson….participated in High Performance Programs from 2008 through 2010.

Born in March 1995, in Spokane, Wash…father Ron is an orthodontist who played tennis at WSU…mother Patty is an accountant…older sisters Alexa and Elise both attend WSU…younger brother Blake…Taylor is a fourth generation Cougar student-athlete…family boasts a long line of distinguished Cougars including her great grandfather Carl "Tuffy" Ellingsen, a football, baseball and boxing standout who was inducted into the WSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1980, grandfather Jim Ellingsen, a golfer, geat uncle Don Ellingsen competed in football and track and was inducted into the WSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1984…4.0 GPA student…2013 Valedictorian at Mead HS…member of National Honor Society…plans to major in general medical sciences at WSU.
