Program Assistant, Cougar Athletic Fund
Washington State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting applications for the position of Program Assistant, Cougar Athletic Fund. This position is a member of the WSU Athletic Foundation, with responsibilities relating to the operational and administrative support of the Cougar Athletic Fund. This position will serve as the point of contact for the Cougar Athletic fund, providing program specific information to students, staff, program participants and the public. This position will assist with the donor stewardship program as well as participate in a variety of special events on behalf of the Cougar Athletic Fund. Additionally this position is responsible for functioning as the assistant to the Assistant Athletic Director for the Cougar Athletic Fund.
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience. One (1) year of full-time experience in administrative support, customer service, development/fundraising field or other relevant field. Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of full-time experience in Development/Fundraising field, performing duties such as planning, developing, support of fund raising activities and/or coordinating special events. Bachelor’s degree. Work experience that demonstrates ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, E-mail, database systems and mainframe computer systems with administrative projects. Experience working as an assistant to an administrative position. Experience working within higher education setting. Experience working within an intercollegiate athletic department. Experience working within a foundation/fundraising setting. Work experience that demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks and perform sound decision-making. Work experience that demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and constituents. Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license at time of hire.

Ticket Sales Team, Account Executive
Washington State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting applications for the position of Ticket Sales Team, Account Executive (Program Assistant). The Account Executive is part of the athletic ticket operations sales seam and is responsible for the renewal of all Football and Basketball season ticket holders. This position will perform outbound calls with a concentration on Football and Men’s Basketball, and contribute to the growth of new season ticket sales.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a program-related area and two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Ability to travel on and off campus including occasional overnight travel. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience working in positions that require customer service, leadership and strong communication skills. Previous experience working within an intercollegiate or professional Athletic Ticket Office. Demonstrated sales accomplishments and achievements. Demonstrated work experience that requires strong time management, fiscal accountability and organizational skills. Demonstrated work experience that requires an expertise with business practices and internal controls. Possess excellent report writing skills and have the ability to initiate and complete projects with specific deadlines.
