WASHINGTON STATE CAREER
Junior (2014-15) – Set a pair of lifetime bests at the Pac-12 Championships…in the 100 back, clocked a time of 56.03 in the ‘C’ final…the mark is the seventh-fastest time in WSU history…in the 200 IM prelims, touched the wall in 2:04.31 to earn the ninth-fastest time in school history…at the Hawkeye Invitational, swam the sixth-fastest time in program history in the 200 back with a time of 1:59.99…the marked earned Schaedler a fourth-place finish in the ‘A’ final…named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team for the second-consecutive season with a 3.85 GPA.
Sophomore (2013-14) – Scored five points against UCLA, Jan. 17…second in 200 back and 200 IM against Oregon State, Jan. 24…five points at Utah, Feb. 8…swam career bests in 100 back (56.48), 200 back (2:02.15) and 200 IM (2:05.64) at Pac-12 Championships…time in 200 back ranks 10th all-time at Washington State.
Freshman (2012-13) – Competed on the 200 medley relay that placed sixth against Oregon State…also took fifth in the 100 backstroke in the same meet…sixth in the 100 back against Idaho…swam on the 200 medley relay team that took sixth against Utah…took seventh in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 back in the same meet.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER
Member of Campbell County swim team all four years...led team to four straight state titles...captained team as a senior...made All-State team every year...contributed to team's four undefeated seasons...garnered all-conference honors in her freshman, sophomore, and junior years...as a freshman, set state record in 200 medley relay...won all events at state meet as a sophomore...was named an All-American in the 100 Backstroke the same season...set state record and one of top 30 times in the country in the 200 medley as a junior...All-American as a senior.
Shaya Rayne Schaedler... father Brad is a college professor and played baseball at Wyoming…mother Joyce is a lawyer...finished with a 3.93 GPA in high school...member of the National Honor Society.
