WSU CAREER: During fall of JUNIOR (2012-13) year, competed with varsity eight, varsity four and junior varsity eight…in the spring, member of second varsity eight…rowed varsity eight and junior varsity eight to victories at Head of the Spokane and Portland Fall Classic respectively…helped second varsity eight take first at Gonzaga Dual, San Diego Crew Classic, and Oregon State Classic morning session…finished season with 14th place finish at NCAA Championships...named Scholar-Athlete by Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association…named to Pac-12 All-Academic first team…spent the fall season of SOPHOMORE (2011-12) year with the second varsity eight…second varsity eight boat defeated Gonzaga…varsity eight defeated Oregon State, capturing the Crawford Plate and helped the team capture the Winchell Cup for the third consecutive year…Pac-12 All Academic First Team with a 3.92 GPA…competed with the novice team during FRESHMAN (2010-11) year, helping the team to a fourth-place finish at the San Diego crew classic…also fourth-place, finishing ahead of UCLA, Stanford, and USC at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships.

PERSONAL: Elise Kathryn Jones…born in November of 1991…parents Timothy and Nancy attended Washington State before becoming an electrical engineer and para-educator, respectively…brother Dusty attended WSU…grandfather Vern attended WSU…maintained a 4.0 GPA through high school… played the alto saxophone throughout high school…enjoys biking, camping, piano, running, and playing the saxophone…pursuing a degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in water resources and a minor in math at WSU.
