Chris Keagle begins his third year working with the special teams as the Cougars graduate assistant. Keagle assists with the special teams game planning and the special teams scout teams.

Keagle was a four-year letterwinner and two-time All-WAC punter at Louisiana Tech University where he started all 49 games for the Bulldogs.  The Baton Rouge, La. native finished his career with the most punts (266) and punt yards (10,534) in school history and fourth on Louisiana Tech’s top-10 in career punting average with 39.6.

Keagle, who punted for WSU special teams coordinator Eric Russell at Louisiana Tech in 2008, was a first-team All-WAC selection and third-team All-American by Rivals.com as a junior after leading the WAC in punting at 41.3. He finished his career with 86 punts downed inside the 20 yard line.

Keagle earned his bachleor’s degree in Kinesiology and pre-physical therapy from Louisiana Tech in 2009. Keagle and his wife, Crystal have one daughter, Blakeley and one son, Kellen.
