Pam Bradetich

Position: Senior Associate Director of Athletics

Pam Bradetich has been involved with college athletics for over 30 years, first as a student-athlete at the University of Idaho, then as an assistant and head volleyball coach at Idaho, and now as an administrator at Washington State University. Pam is originally from Sandpoint, Idaho, and graduated from the University of Idaho with an undergraduate degree in education and a master's degree in sports science, with an emphasis in athletic administration.

Pam came to WSU in 1989 as an intern for event operations. In 1994, she moved from her director of event operations position to the academic and compliance unit as the director of academics and compliance. In the summer of 1998, the academic unit was restructured to place a greater emphasis on career services. With this change, Pam became the assistant athletic director for academic and career services. She was named associate director of athletics two years later where she oversaw the development and implementation of a comprehensive academic support, personal development, and career services program to assist student-athletes identify and meet academic goals leading to graduation, career, and professional development.

In 2007 Pam was elevated to Senior Associate Director of Athletics, and is now overseeing the Student Services area for Cougar Athletics, which includes: academic services; student-athlete development (career development, community service and leadership development); athletic training services; strength and conditioning; sports nutrition, and student-athlete wellbeing.

Pam enjoys traveling, golf, attending sports events, camping, and spending time in Sandpoint with friends and family.
