PULLMAN, Wash. - As Cougar Athletics embarks on the 2011 football season, fans entering Martin Stadium for Saturday's game vs. Idaho State will notice a more welcoming environment and enhancements to the Cougar Football Saturday experience.

In an effort to create a more enjoyable, fan-friendly atmosphere, Cougar Athletics has added Welcome signs displaying information to make the fans' experience throughout Martin Stadium more enjoyable. Additionally, extra attention has been paid to stadium hosts, including WSU Athletics Cougs Guys & Gals, to be more welcoming and inviting to all patrons.

Fans will also notice in-game additions such as the CrowdWave, a motion controlled, mass-interactive entertainment technology system. CrowdWave will occur throughout each home game. For more information on CrowdWave click HERE

Fans will also notice improved graphics and promotions on the west end video board. Furthermore, physical changes to the west end zone were made during the off-season to accommodate the addition of the Cougar Den, presented by Northern Quest Resort and Casino, an IMG College hospitality area. For more information on the Cougar Den contact Matt Almond at 509-358-7883.

Cougar Athletics invites fans to participate in the Cougar Prowl. Two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff, the WSU football players and coaches arrive on campus and, joined by the WSU marching band, spirit squad, and Butch, walk from the Cougar Pride Statue to the Hollingbery Fieldhouse through a tunnel of cheering Cougar fans.
