PULLMAN, Wash. --- Thursday and Friday brought more postseason honors for the Washington State football team, including another first team All-America nod for kicker Drew Dunning and Bill Doba being recognized as the Pac-10 Coach of the Year by ESPN.com.

Dunning, who connected on 27 of 30 field goals in 2003, earned first team All-America honors from Rivals.com after garnering the same honor from The Sporting News earlier in the week. The Issaquah, Wash., native has compiled a school record 334 career points, including three 100-point seasons.

Doba, who led the Cougars to a 9-3 campaign in his first year as head coach, was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year by ESPN.com. Doba spent 14 years at Washington State as an assistant coach before taking over the program in December, 2002.

Sophomore linebacker Will Derting continues to be recognized after racking up 82 tackles and 6.5 sacks in just his second season of action. Derting earned honorable mention All-America from Collegefootballnews.com, who also named him one of the top 100 performers in the nation in 2003.
