Washington State Notes:

  • Klay Thompson led the team with 33 points, reaching 20 points for the 11th time in the Cougars' 13 games this season...he reached 30-plus points for the third time this season.
  • Thompson got fouled on three 3-point attempts, compiling nine of his 15 free throw attempts...finished 19-for-21 from the free throw line...his 19 free throws are a career high, as are his 21 free throw attempts.
  • DeAngelo Casto finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds, recording his fourth double-double of the season and his career.
  • WSU played its second-consecutive overtime game...first back-to-back overtime games since 1981-82...WSU defeated No. 16 UCLA in three overtimes (Jan. 2, 1982) and fell to USC in one overtime (Jan. 4).
  • The Cougars' overtime loss marked its first in OT since Feb. 2, 2008 to Stanford at home (had won four-straight in OT).
  • The game was WSU's first double overtime game since March 8, 2008.
  • WSU didn't lead in the game until 4:45 to go in the first overtime.
  • The Ducks snapped a six-game losing streak to the Cougars.
