PULLMAN, Wash.- The Washington State University women's swim team heads to Reno to take on Nevada this weekend...the two teams will face off in two separate meets with relays Friday, Jan. 17 at 5 p.m. and a dual meet Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m...the Wolf Pack have a dual meet record of 6-1 and are coming off a 124-48 win over Loyola Marymount Jan. 6...the relay meet this weekend is the first of the season for Nevada...the Cougars come into this weekend's competitions with a 3-1 dual meet record and a 1-0 relay meet record.

"They are a really solid team," said WSU Head Coach Erica Quam. "We match up really well with them."

LAST WEEK: WSU last competed Jan. 4 at the Rainbow Invitational-Aileen Soule Classic hosted by the University of Hawaii...the Cougars had two swimmers place in the top three in individual events...freshman Jane Copland led WSU with a victory in the 200 breaststroke and a third place finish in the individual medley...senior Lindsay Henahan grabbed a third place finish in the 200 butterfly...five other swimmers finished in the top 10 for the Cougs.

COACH QUAM: Erica Quam has a dual meet record of 3-1 in her first year as head coach at WSU...Quam spent the past five years as an assistant at Southern Methodist University.

NEXT WEEK: Washington State has next week off, but returns to competition, Jan. 31 with a two-day meet at Oregon State, Friday and Saturday.
