Though the calendar says it's the middle of winter, temperatures in Pullman threatened to reach 60 degrees, Sunday. The "spring" day ended with a spectacular sunset highlighting the facilities at Martin Stadium and the Cougar Athletic Fund sign on the video board.

What a night for Klay Thompson. The Cougar basketball great set an NBA record with 37 third quarter points against the Sacramento Kings, Friday night. That set an NBA record for most points in a quarter, besting the previous mark by four points.

As the nation commemorates the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, many will remember Dr. King's iconic "I Have A Dream" speech. On the 50th anniversary of when Dr. King delivered his speech, WSUCougars.com took a look back at that historic day in 1963 and its special connection with former Washington State men's basketball coach George Raveling.
