SAN DIEGO – In the second day of competition at the San Diego Crew Classic, the No. 11 Washington State women's rowing team battled tough competition in the Grand Finals, which featured an hour-long fog delay, Sunday morning at Mission Bay.
Head Coach
Jane LaRiviere said, “Today was a great example of why the heats in San Diego are critical. It is important to win those close battles. The second varsity eight and varsity four had solid races yesterday, but finishing in second means an outside lane. Lane six crushed us today. We will be better for it down the road. The varsity eight had a good race, they raced very tough today.”
