PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University men's basketball team concluded its first practice of the 2015-16 season, Friday, Oct. 2 at Beasley Coliseum on WSU's campus.
The team features six returnees, including three starters in juniors Ike Iroegbu, Josh Hawkinson and sophomore Ny Redding. Also returning are seniors Brett Boese and Junior Longrus and redshirt junior Que Johnson. The group of newcomers includes redshirt junior Valentine Izundu, who sat out last season after transferring from Houston.
Joining the team are newcomers Conor Clifford, Charles Callison, Viont'e Daniels, Robert Franks, Derrien King and Renard Suggs. Clifford, Callison, King and Suggs are junior college transfers, while Daniels and Franks are freshmen.
The Cougars host two exhibition games, Friday Oct. 30 and Friday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively. The Nov. 6 game will be 'Flashback Friday' and honor legendary coach George Raveling. WSU opens the regular season, Friday, Nov. 13, hosting Norther Arizona at 5:30 p.m. at Beasley Coliseum.
